Death of Brain.

Users of ecstasy and methamphetamine exhibit signs of brain damage similar to that suffered by victims of traumatic brain injuries, according to researchers at the University of Florida.Using these drugs can cause a chemical chain reaction leading to cell death in the brain, memory loss, and other potentially permanent problems. This study was based on rats. Brains of rats exposed to drugs and found that the damage they cause to certain proteins in the brain could lead to cell death and brain inflammation. Lots of brain cell are damaged because of those drugs.

Although the photo is quite graphic, it is quite impacting and serves an important purpose. This is a very good blog for a very relevant theme. Having worked with narcotics cases years ago I couldn't always explain things to addicts and their families, but pictures can do a lot.
